Welcome. We make technology work.

I'm currently the IT Director for a manufacturing company, but I'd like this site to offer guidance and advice to anyone looking. If you feel like your current IT vendors are pushing products and services, I hope you'll find something here to help you make the best choices for your situation.

Over the years I've worked on networks and firewalls, servers and Linux, cloud and self-hosted services, security and backups, email and websites, and lately putting AI to practical use. The goal has always been the same: technology should get out of the way and streamline getting work done, not become another job of its own.

If you want something more concrete, I do answer email (consulting@sdicomputer.com) and will do my best to carve out time to discuss things with you.
